It was a sad day when I heard of Contour’s demise, I am so very pleased you have found a way to keep up the fight for the POV market.
I have 1x 2+ and 2x Roam2 cameras with every mount and could not imagine using any other system. Product support is important, so I hope you will maintain your loyal customer base in your efforts to continue to improve your product.

Will you re-enter the aviation world? I purchased the Contour + Nflightcam and I really enjoy it (you can find my videos on my You Tube page (angelsvocce). I ask because I would like to record some video from outside of my aircraft and I do not see any exterior mounts that would be well suited to be mounted outside of my aircraft … not to mention battery life and connectivity concerns.

  3. Welcome back!!!

  4. We were shooting some video this weekend with our contours saying what a shame it was that Contour was no more. We all agree the contour is the best camera but has started to slip behind in capabilities. I am excited to see you are back at it and anxious for what you can do from here. We’re with you guys. Now go kick some ass!

  5. I knew a great product like that would recover somehow. I never removed the bookmark to the website from my desktop and checked it monthly. What a great surprise I got this time! I still have three working Contour cameras. I am stoked that Contour is BACK!

  6. Happy you are back. Great product.

  7. Awesome!! I love my current Contour camera and am glad I’ll have a chance to up upgrade!

  8. That’s great you are back. Now I hope to have continued support for my 4 – Contour+2 cameras.
I use these for work…not play. I am a retired Forest Service employee contracting back to the Forest Service for engineering support. The cameras are extensively used for field work. Nothing out there like it. For those interested in using the video footage in GIS look for the GeoDrive software, by Ria Mobile GIS, which was designed around the Contour+2 camera capabilities.

  9. Love your product and was highly bummed when I thought you had left us. Welcome back indeed!

  10. Glad to have you back. I have the old contour and love using it. What retailers will be selling the new cams?

  11. Glad you’re back and hope to have support on old models. Happy to still have a streamlined alternative to the ‘Teletubby’ camera offered by the other guys.

  12. I’m from France and I’m really happy to see the brand back on the tracks.

I enjoy my roam contour and I was worried to change for an other brand when I would a more “one the top” POV camera.
I can wait to see new product and to see sets of equipments once more available on markets.

    Good luck guys !

  13. Glad you’re back!

  14. Come caricare i video su Fb con storyteller??

  15. Great news – I have a 2+ & Initial contour I got during Contour’s Aspen/Snowmass visit in 2010.
    Can’t wait for 3!

I have the Nflightcam Contour+, and I use it exclusively for flying. Will you re-enter the aviation market and will you make external aircraft mounts?

  17. Now we need to get a Windows Phone app. Thank you for returning!

  18. Yahoooo! Didn’t want to change to the other guys and now I don’t have to. Keep on keeping on!

  19. I was dismayed that Contour was having troubles. I think this camera is much better than my buddies Go Pro. Unfortunately, better doesn’t mean more successful. I hope you reach out to the public and educate them on how good this product is!

  20. Congratulations on returning to the POV Camera market! I’m currently using your Contour+2 and Roam2 in Afghanistan. I love these cameras! Welcome back and I look forward to seeing where this company goes in the future!

  21. Awesome…I love my Contour! I attached mine to my helmet at a motorcycle track day this weekend…worked flawlessly. My two buddies had GoPros….and they were a pain right from the first session.

  22. Welcome back … Hope contour can fight in this market

  23. Glad your back. Contour is “Simply” the best in POV cameras
